add:north PETG Black filament
add:north’s PETG Black prints easily, is odorless, has low warping and a high impact resistance.
PETG has grown to be one of the most popular materials for many users. It has in many ways replaced ABS as the primary material for technical applications mainly because of its chemical resistance.
It’s highly suitable for functional parts thanks to a working temperature of up to 75°C, together with high wear resistance, excellent UV-properties and chemical resistance.
PETG also has the highest transparency among all add:north’s filaments.
Printing with PETG:
- Recommended printing temperature: 225-260°C for the nozzle and up to 80°C on the bed.
- PETG is hygroscopic, so to get the best result both visually and strength wise, it’s important to keep dry. When not in use, store it in our re-sealable bag with the included desiccant.
- If needed, dry it for 5-6 hours at 65°C before use. Signs of moisture are: Poor layer adhesion, weak and fragile prints. Excessive stringing and oozing.
PETG, together with all other add:north’s filaments, are made in Sweden and have a diameter tolerance of ±0.025mm.
